About us
First Presbyterian Church was founded in present day Union Cemetery in 1798. Since then, we have been housed in one lean-to and four church buildings. Our current church building was built in 1888 and has been our place of worship for 135 years!
Mission Statement of First Presbyterian Church:
First Presbyterian Church of St. Clairsville, Ohio is a community of believers in Jesus Christ given to the worship of the living God. Our mission is to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ, live accordingly, and bring others into the fold of belief and perfect peace.
We are always looking forward to serving God in our church, our community, and our world. We invite you to come and be a part of our worship community!
